Parkland Infant School

Head of School: Ms S. Simpson

Executive Headteacher: Mrs J. Prentice

Parkland Infant School offers a high quality educational environment in which children are happy and motivated to learn. Every child is unique and staff work hard to develop the individual abilities of every child, as well as providing for his or her particular needs. Great importance is placed on encouraging children to be self-confident, co-operative, curious about the world around them and to be sensitive to the needs of other people.

Parkland Infant School are very proud of their creative curriculum, high standards of teaching and learning, positive behaviour and the commitment to providing a broad and balanced education for every child.

Parkland Infant School is at a very exciting stage in its development and it is with great zest that they continue their quest to deliver an outstanding education where they hope to ignite imaginations and inspire learners. The school have been working very hard to improve the school environment.

The results achieved by pupils in all year groups bear testament to the hard work of both learners, teachers and parents. Reading, writing and maths results are either in line with or above National Averages.

In December 2015, Ofsted rated the school as ‘good’ with high standards, high expectations and warm, positive support for learners.
