Continuing Professional Development

We offer a range of professional development opportunities for teachers, extending our strong learning culture to all the schools within the Trust.

As a successful Teaching School, we identify our best teachers and leaders from across the Trust to provide school-based professional development. We also offer a tailored development package to meet the specific needs of each of our schools within the Trust.

CPD Opportunities currently offered:

Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) Programme

Across the Trust schools we offer various NQT Programmes to suit the growth and development of newly qualified teachers within their own school setting.

As part of our commitment to the development of new staff to the profession we strive to have a strong track record and provide excellent opportunities that fully meet the need of NQTs in line with school priorities.

  • coach colleagues in their own school and in other schools to raise performance levels
  • create a proactive school culture where the quality of teaching and learning is observed, discussed, challenged and enhanced
